When I have an incoming call I see a number and not the name of my contact
You need to activate contact sharing on your phone. This is done within your Bluetooth settings.
Can you tag tracks to different playlists?
Tagged tracks are automatically placed in the Pure Go playlist within the users Spotify account. The user can move these tracks from the Pure Go playlist to other playlists using the Spotify app.
Note: If you are not a Spotify premium subscriber, a list of tagged tracks is available from within the application.
Can I tag any track on any radio station?
If the music has officially been released you should be able to tag and identify tracks.
What if my phone doesn’t have any reception, can I still listen to music on demand?
The Pure Go application does not support cached music (Music on demand stored locally on your mobile device), so a data connection is needed.
What is the Go button?
Whilst connected to the pure Go mobile application, the Go button can be used as the `hot key` to trigger your chosen music on demand service and identify music. The music will be streamed to your Highway product using Bluetooth.
Can I connect my phone to multiple Bluetooth devices including Highway (i.e. existing hands free car kit and Highway 400)?
You can connect simultaneously to your car’s hands free Bluetooth and Highway’s BT music streaming (refer to your handsets BT connection guide).
In some cases there may be conflict with existing in car Bluetooth systems for iPhone users. You will notice Highway will play for a minute or so, then the car will take control, so the audio from Highway goes silent.
If you experience this some cars will let you change Bluetooth settings so the car is only used for hands free calling but not for music streaming. So you would need to use the car’s own Bluetooth just for phone calls and Highway 400 for Bluetooth music streaming.
If this setting is not available, to carry on using Highway you’ll need to tell your car to forget your iPhone.
How many phones will Highway support in hands-free mode?
Highway 400 and 600 will remember up to three previously paired devices.
Highway 400 and 600 will only connect to one handset device at any time.
Note: Once paired with your Bluetooth device, Highway will automatically reconnect whenever it is in range.
How long will the batteries of the wireless controller last?
The wireless display is powered by 2x AAA batteries which are provided in the box. Based on our commuter user case and the default 15s display time out the battery life would be around 8months.
Daylight = 9months
Night time (with button LED’s on) = 6months
Note: Battery life will reduce if the display time out is increased.
